  1. Instead of having those orange line trains turn around @ union station they could become green trains and go out to clackamas. the ‘spine’ of the system along the banfield freeway connecting to anywhere is a hugely marketable asset…

  2. [Moderator: Various rants and barely-disguised F-word removed. This is a place for civil discussion, there’s plenty of other outlets for rants including your own blog. – Bob R.]

What Is Censorship? (2006 resource): Censorship, the suppression of words, images, or ideas that are “offensive,” happens whenever some people succeed in imposing their personal political or moral values on others. Censorship can be carried out by the government as well as private pressure groups. Censorship by the government is unconstitutional.

  4. Al,

The operators of a private blog limiting what gets published thereon, is called “editorial discretion”, not “censorship”. Censorship would be the moderators (or the government, or some other authority) telling you what you can write, or not write, on your own blog, or say in public. As long as our moderation decisions are confined here, Bob, Chris, and I are well withing our ethical and legal rights.

This form has rules, they’ve been explained to you many times.

As far as the location–it was selected by mutual agreement. It’s located on the mall (and thus well-themed), comfy, and a good place for Bob to set up his video gear. If you have an alternate suggestion (a polite one, please), we’d be interested.

  5. Yeah, it’s a blog thing. Al says that any and all spam and negative comments will be deleted on his blog. He should expect the same.

Also, is there any chance we can get a transcription of the videos? I have a lot of trouble loading them from my phone but I’d like to see what he says. Thank you!

  6. [Moderator: Rant about censorship and hypocrisy removed. This is not your blog, Al. The rules have been explained many, many times. Further off-topic comments from you along these lines will be removed without notice. – Bob R.]

The transcripts for Part 1 have already been posted. As was mentioned with the first article, we are seeking volunteers to assist with transcription.

  8. Cameron,

A transcript for part 1 is available; a transcript for part 2 is almost done and will likely be completed and posted this evening some time. If anyone wants to volunteer to transcribe parts 3 and 4, let us know. :)

  9. [Moderator: Allan’s comment removed, although not violating any rules it was a back-and-forth with a removed comment from Al. Trying to clean up this thread so we can discuss the actual video. – Bob R.]

  10. I am expecting the lemon line running of yellow and green to be the same for the orange. You probably will have to transfer downtown.
