I love your shows and it is grest to have bike advocacy! On this show I have to strongly disagree with one of the suggedtions. Unmanned speed rader cameras! I live in Tucson and absolutely hate speed radar cameras. We finally petitioned them away here. If the general public were to be aware that the csmeras were placed due to bicyclists, there would be a wave of animosity tiwards cyclIsts. The cameras won’t stop texters or dui’s. I see them more if as revenue gerating device that prey on the public, and I am an avid biker, it makes me angry to see the cameras.
Why don’t you just obey the law? Seems like an easy way to avoid a ticket.
Why would speed “csmeras” [sic] be “placed due to bicylists”?
I really don’t understand why the city would do that. Most of Tucson is pretty flat, so if there is a problem with people speeding on bikes you must have a population with 20″ thighs.
bicyclists not “bicylists”. Apologies; I misspell things too.
Sorry, but people endangering others (especially pedestrians and cyclists) while breaking the law are not victims.
