If so, PBOT and Streetcar would like your help on evaluating the service conditions:
The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Portland Streetcar are performing some research on our vehicles and how we are serving the needs of the community that uses mobility devises. We are recruiting people of all ages that use crutches, walkers, wheel chairs (both manual and electric) and scooters. We will be testing on June 26th and 27th. Please help us recruit by sharing this information with your communities. People that are interested are encouraged to call or email me to schedule a time volunteer.
As a small token of our appreciation, volunteers that complete the evaluation of our bridgeplates will be provided with a $25 gift certificate for a local retailer.
Thank you so very much.

It’s good to see attention to this issue. With an aging population there are going to be more people who are limited but need public transportation to get around.
My late father in his powerchair loved Streetcar for getting to Good Sam. He also rode the 44 bus to Multnomah as well as MAX into his 97th year!
Did you guys notice that one of the issues the propelled Scott Walker back into office was THIS!
Wisconsin used to be a blue state, now its a red state.
Don’t think it couldn’t happen here in blue Oregon
Uh, no…. 45 million dollars (at least) “propelled” Walker to just be able to keep his job for 2 more years. Not exactly a mandate when you have to literally buy an election.
I don’t buy its all about the money argument in Wisconsin.

What was the corruption charge? I missed that.
