I think it’s it was a wise decision on behalf of Betsy Imholt to not apply. I know she’s doing a lot of work to develop the state’s rail plans, but I wonder if an advisory committee-type setup, with representatives from within the corridor could help a bit more with coordinating the different communities in the Willamette Valley that would need to buy into the plan for high-er speed rail going forward, whatever that may be.
