Transportation Bill Passes State Senate


The Business Journal is reporting that the transportation bill passed the Senate by a comfortable 24-6 vote (18 votes were required).

The Governor will certainly sign it.

    The Oregonian reported this morning that all the Democrats (plus 6 Republicans) voted for it.

  3. 4600 good paying construction jobs? Guaranteed all for US citizens? Or are we truly entering the globalized welfare state now? Oh yeah—-now Department of Homeland Security is going to send the employer to jail if they hire illegal aliens! So does that mean ODOT people will be wearing the stripes? Naaah…probably not…..

    Maybe the State of Oregon should fund a training program where US citizens train their replacements! Why not?
