Distracted
Those of you who follow local news may have noticed that my new project is progressing to the next phase :-)
As a result I'm going to have less time for blogging here. I'm delighted that a number of folks have stepped up to be contributors for Portland Transport, but we could use a few more to make sure we have something to talk about every day.
The other thing that is suffering is the calendar. Unless we have a few more people step up to keep the calendar updated, we'll probably drop it from the site.

IMO, the thing that works best is posting meeting/event times and locations in the main posts, that way it's easier to determine like-events from each other (since sometimes the same information is presented on more than one occasion and location). I can then write which events I'm thinking of attending in my own personal calendar, which includes plenty of other stuff too... ;)
I dunno if this is possible, but what about a listing of such "event" posts, possibly as a separate feed? Is it even possible to categorize posts under more than one category (i.e., "transit" and "event")? Even if not, I'm just fine with fishing through the archives as I currently do.
