Karmically Appropriate Way to Support Portland Transport

Here's a new way to support Portland Transport.

Of course you can always hit the Donate button over to the right (please do!) - but here's another method that includes a values statement.

Turn over your car keys!

That's right, we now have a vehicle donation program. Got an old (or not so old) car you want to get rid of? Donate it to Portland Transport. The car will be sold at auction and Portland Transport will get the proceeds to support the ongoing conversation here on the blog as well as the continuing development of our transit information tools.

So if you're ready to give up your car (or even if you're just replacing it), contact us (webmaster@portlandtransport.com) and we'll walk you through the simple process.

Frank Dufay Says:

Ok, Chris. we're on board, Anne and I.

We're now a 2-car family, but the fact is our 1984 Audi mostly sits unused, taking up space and growing cobwebs. The ododeter stopped at 238,000 miles better than 6 years ago. It's not pretty to look at, but then neither am I, and I seem to do OK.

And there would be a certain "karmically appropriate" logic to donating it to Portland Transport. Let me know what we gotta do...
