Welcome to Portland Transport
Welcome to "a conversation about mobility" in our region.
The goal behind Portland Transport is to let the thought leaders on transportation issues in the region converse with each other, and with the general public.
We have assembled a diverse group of contributors, and will be adding more as the site grows. They include elected officials, agency staffers and transportation advocates. If you'd like to contribute, let us know. This is definitely a group effort.
We operate under a simple set of rules, and welcome your thoughts on how we can improve the site.
Enjoy!

Chris,
I like the idea and the framing of the conversation. The graphics are great. One suggestion for layout is to move the welcome to the top of the page.

It's the nature of blogs that the newests post show up at the top and the older items move down. However, I've added a link to the 'welcome' post at the top of the home page. Thanks for the suggestion.
Also, to everyone who told me the grey text was too hard to read, you'll see things are considerably darker now :-)

Is this supposed to be moderated? I don't see my posts come up immediately and it would be nice to notify if that is the case.

Chris Smith Says:
No, it's not moderated. I have noticed that sometimes you need to hit refresh after you submit a comment in order to see the comment. I'm not sure why that is and will look into it.
