About the Images

Copyright for the images used on Portland Transport is a little more complex. Most of the images on the site are linked from our Flickr Photostream. You can click through to the image and check the license terms there. Most that are original are also offered under a Creative Commons license. Some images that are used with permission have different terms and they will be noted.

If you find that an image is linked from another site, assume we're using it under fair use terms or with the permission of the copyright holder.

For images that live on the Portland Transport server rather than Flickr, please inquire about the copyright status.

About the Transit Tracker

Our intent is to make the Transit Tracker design and code available as an open source software project. Until an appropriate license is created all rights are reserved to Portland Transport. The data used by the tool is the property of the transit agencies that provide it. Please refer to those agencies for licensing information.
