A New Right of Passage

When I was sixteen, empowerment was all about getting my drivers' licence.

Now, apparently it's about getting a smartphone...

Seems a bit disingenuous to state the "Teens want phones, not cars" when it is 46% that prefer smart phones over cars?

It didn't say "all" or even "most" teens. The fact that a significant percentage (46%) prefer smart phones is a real sea change.
